Environmental Policy
Being aware of our social responsibility towards both the public and our own workforce, the environmental protection and occupational safety policy of OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH applies to all employees and all areas at OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH.
The objective of the environmental protection and occupational safety management system is to continually improve our environmental performance and corporate environmental protection system and to eliminate and reduce any potential risks to our workforce.
All employees work equally with a sense of shared responsibility at attaining measurable results, such as reducing the volume of waste and making energy savings – which we have identified as currently having the most relevant environmental impact for us – and thereby improving our environmental performance.
The aim is to create a safe working environment that is beneficial to the health of the workforce.
Environmental protection and occupational safety are lived out in the company each and every day. This also includes our suppliers and applies to all operational areas of OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH.
We convey this philosophy to our workforce on a regular basis by the model conduct of superiors as well the provision of appropriate training and instruction measures.
Every member of the workforce is requested to do everything possible at his/her workplace to respect and observe the environmental and occupational safety guidelines of OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH.
Moreover, OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH creates the necessary environment to allow these objectives to be achieved.
The performance of the environmental and occupational safety management system is regularly assessed – and if necessary – adjusted in order to adapt to the changing framework conditions.

Our Environmental Guidelines:
• To regularly establish the impact on the environment.
• To comply with the environmental laws and rules, to avoid or at least minimize waste and emissions harmful to the environment, as well as to take future-oriented action
• OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH endeavours to arouse and promote environmental awareness in environmentally relevant areas through the training of its workforce and the provision of specialization seminars.
• It is the aim of OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH to continually improve protection of the environment and to guarantee implementation of these guidelines by setting up an environmental management.
• The recording of environmental data (water consumption, fuel consumption etc.) forms the basis for a comprehensive saving of energy and resources.
• We have an obligation to prevent environmental pollution and to conserve resources. That's why already at the design and construction stage we take the environmental impact in terms of use and disposal into account.
• In 2009 OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH voluntarily introduced an environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001 and in doing so declared its intent to pursue an effective and sustainable environmental protection policy.
• Scope: Products developed and manufactured by OKIN Motion Technologies GmbH as well as those sold under this name.
